Founder & Managing Director
Ed has over 10 years’ experience in the Financial Services sector, predominantly in Paraplanning roles across three different Financial Planning firms. Ed started Para-dox in 2018 using his expertise and desire to create a unique outsourced Paraplanning solution.
His focus on the innovation side of Paraplanning continues to grow, with the desire to make Financial Planning more approachable and concise for the end-client a key priority.
Outside of work, Ed likes to explore new dog walks with his partner and Labrador. Also playing cricket for his local team is a common feature during the Summer.
Hanaa graduated with a MSc in Economics from Manchester University and her first Financial Services role was with an IFA in Milton Keynes, who created a Trainee Paraplanner position for her
and ignited a love for paraplanning. She has been in financial services for the last six years and has worked for an IFA, an outsourced Paraplanning firm and Quilter network firms. She is currently working towards gaining her Diploma and loves the flexibility Para-dox offers, allowing her to fit studying in around her work and personal life.
Hanaa lives with her husband, daughter and two cats. Family time includes baking, watching a TV series about baking, cycling and completing craft projects.
Barry has over 30 years’ experience in the Financial Services Sector within a wide variety of positions. He worked for Lloyds Private Banking for six years, initially as File Verification Reviewer in the Compliance Department and then as Paraplanner. He was one of the original paraplanners for Lloyds Private Banking, helping to establish procedures and processes that led to the success of the team and eventual roll out to all Private Banking Offices around the country. After leaving Lloyds Private Banking he worked as a Paraplanner for an Independent Financial Adviser in Eastbourne, before becoming a Financial Adviser with Co-operative Financial Services and then with the Halifax.
His friends would say he is kind and a bit of a geek. He likes remote working because he can listen to BBC 6 Music all day and discover new bands. He loves going to gigs and, despite his advancing years, he can still be found in the mosh pit. He also enjoys watching Marvel Cinematic Universe and Star Wars related films and TV shows.
Paraplanning Team Leader

Lucy works closely with the Managing Director and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the business, ensuring a high level of service and quality is maintained.
Her friends would describe her as friendly and hard working. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and walking her rescue dog as well as going to the cinema with her children.
